About Me
Dr. Md. Didarul Islam Bhuyan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) in Tangail. He completed his B.Sc. and MS degrees in Physics at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet. Dr. Bhuyan received his PhD from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka in 2022. At MBSTU, he focuses on the preparation and characterization of multifunctional perovskite nanomaterials, which have various applications. He has published over 15 research papers in prestigious journals, including RSC Advances, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, IEEE Magnetics Letters, Journal of Astrophysics and Astronomy, Journal of Materials Research and Technology, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds.
Research Interest
My research focuses on exploring and understanding the physical properties of multifunctional magnetic nano-materials particularly wide band gap oxide semiconductors for energy-efficient optoelectronic devices, and sensor technologies.
